Program Benefits
Green Light Driving Academy has been supporting schools, both public and private, in our area since 2002. GLDA has programs for every student in Texas and now we have a program that allows schools public & private, from all over the state to provide a professional drivers education course for their students. GLDA's Partnership with Texas Schools will provide schools with a $25 contribution.
Parents may choose to teach their teen drivers education using a parent taught course. This can be a complicated & confusing process, especially if you don't know the "driver's education" lingo. We are here to help you through this complicated process.

- low-cost & convenient way for teens to take driver education
- help teen build the necessary skills required in our hectic driving environment at your pace
GLDA offers the following Parent Taught Driver Ed courses:
- online classroom & behind-the-wheel driving instruction - cost $100
- behind-the-wheel driving instruction (student must complete the classroom course and hold their learner's permit - cost $50
Remember, GLDA offers the DPS Road Test for all students, regardless of where the drivers education course was completed. (see details below)
