DPS Office Visit Information

• DPS office visits are by appointment only
• appointments must be made online
• appointments can be make up to 6 months in advance
• schedule your appointment at any DPS office in Texas
• expand your search area
• check back for earlier appointments
  

• The DPS is scheduling appointments weeks or even months in advance. 
• If drivers ed is in your teens future - schedule this appoint early (date must be AFTER the 3rd day of drivers ed class - GLDA Zoom class members receive certificate by mail- must have certificate to obtain permit.)

• Testing with GLDA is more convenient & allows for much more flexibility than testing at a DPS office. 
• Teens & Adults may test with GLDA regardless of where drivers ed was completed
